Twitter, LinkedIn, blog, Facebook and more

By swilson | January 1, 2009

With so many different things to keep up with now, it’s hard to know which one to focus on first. I’m quietly writing this blog, I’m updating Twitter a few times a month. Now, I’m trying to get better about staying active on LinkedIn.

I have a client pushing me to use Facebook – haven’t gone there yet. One colleague told me this week that she uses Facebook marginally, mostly to do her Twitter updates. She thinks Twitter is better for business and networking than any of the others.

So, which is really best? Well, that depends upon the goal. My primary goal is to build network to find new clients. So, during the first part of 2009, I’ll be working to uncover which of these really works best for me and which of them I can reasonably maintain.

Because let’s face it, I’d rather spend my “free” time sewing than updating five different social networking sites.
